Special Issue on Digital Transformation in the Food Sector: Call for Papers

A special issue of the British Food Journal is calling for papers focusing on “Empowering change: exploring Digital Transformation in the organizational and employee dynamics of the Food Sector.” This issue aims to investigate the challenges and opportunities arising from the adoption of digital technologies within the food industry, a sector that has been relatively slow in its digital transition.

The special issue, guided by guest editors Nicola Capolupo, Angelo Rosa, and Elena-Mădălina Vătămănescu, seeks to understand how organizations can effectively manage digital transformation to improve efficiency, agility, and sustainability. It will also address the socio-economic effects of new technologies in the agrifood sector and their influence on organizational culture.
